UNIPORT notice on hostel accommodation for year one student

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), through the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Development, has released an important memo addressed to all students regarding hostel accommodation allocations.

According to the memo dated 10th November 2025, a review of available hostel spaces has been conducted, leading to the verification of some allocations and the revocation of others.

Freshmen (first-year students) who have not yet applied for accommodation are advised to do so via the provided email: [email protected].

The university emphasized that the remaining hostel allocations will be done on a first-come, first-served basis and strictly for year-one students. Only online applications will be considered.

The deadline for this exercise is Friday, 14th November 2025.

The memo was signed by Prof. Angela Inne Frank-Briggs, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Development).
