UNIUYO announces April 27 for rescheduled CBT exams for affected students
The University of Uyo has approved a new date for the conduct of rescheduled Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for students who missed their First Semester 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 CBT exams.
In an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) on April 20, 2026, the university disclosed that the affected students were unable to complete their registration within the stipulated period. Following consultations with the ICT Directorate and the Examination Timetable Committee, arrangements have now been finalized.
The rescheduled examinations are set to hold on Monday, April 27, 2026, across designated CBT venues based on departmental campus locations.
Heads of Departments and course lecturers have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the outlined guidelines. Lecturers are to submit soft copies of their examination questions at the designated CBT venues by 8:00 a.m. on the examination day. They are also required to ensure that all questions are properly formatted and ready for immediate deployment on the CBT platform.
Additionally, department heads and lecturers are tasked with notifying all affected students about the examination date, time, and venue.
The university emphasized that the arrangements are time-bound and warned that there may be no further opportunity for affected students after this exercise.
A comprehensive list of affected courses across various faculties has also been released as part of the directive.
