The University of Uyo has released official guidelines for the online registration of General Studies (GST) Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar, all students and members of the university community were informed that registration for the first semester GST CBT will commence on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

According to the Registrar, Blossom E. Okorie, students are required to complete their registration through the university’s CBT portal by following a series of outlined steps. These include entering a valid matriculation number, providing an active phone number and email address, and verifying their details via email.

Students are also expected to select their relevant GST courses, including GST 111, GST 211, and GST 311, before proceeding to make a payment of ₦1,000 to finalize the registration process.

Upon successful registration, candidates will be able to download their registration slip, while a copy will also be sent to their email addresses.

The university assured students that the examination schedule will be communicated promptly after the registration process is completed.
