UNIUYO SUG notice to students on selection of Class Representatives

The Students’ Union of the University of Uyo has issued an internal memorandum cautioning students against the payment of any form of fee for the position of Class Representative.

According to the notice signed by the Secretary General, Bright Matthew, the selection process for Class Representatives is strictly free of charge and no individual or group is authorized to sell forms, collect money, or demand consultation fees from interested students.

The Union further stated that any student found engaging in such prohibited activities will face appropriate disciplinary action.

Students have been urged to disregard anyone requesting payments related to the position and report such actions immediately to the Students’ Union.
