UNIUYO notice on closure of accommodation portal for 2025/2026 session

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has announced the closure of its hostel accommodation portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In an internal memorandum issued by the Student Affairs Division and signed by the Accommodation Officer, Mr. Offonmbuk M. Ekwere, the university stated that the portal will be disabled at midnight on Friday, January 9, 2026, following the successful conclusion of the hostel accommodation exercise.

According to the memo dated January 6, 2026, all students who have secured hostel accommodation are advised to print their hostel allocation slips before the stated deadline, as access to the portal will no longer be available after that time.

The university emphasized that the closure will take effect the same day and urged all concerned students to comply with the directive promptly to avoid any inconvenience.

The notice was addressed to all concerned students through the Office of the Accommodation Officer under the Student Affairs Division.
