BUK staff on emergency duties to remain on duty during Easter Break

The Federal Government has declared Friday, 3rd April, and Monday, 6th April, 2026, as public holidays in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Consequently, members of the University community are to proceed on the break, while staff on shift duty, emergency, or essential services are expected to report for duty as usual.

Work resumes on Tuesday, 7th April, 2026.

In a circular signed by Bala G. Abdullahi, Secretary of the Information and Publication Division (for the Registrar), the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Haruna Musa, fsi, alongside Management, extended Easter felicitations to all staff and students.
