UNN notice on temporal closure of main gate 2

The Vice-Chancellor has directed that the University Community be formally notified of upcoming major rehabilitation and reconstruction work scheduled for the University's Main Gate 2 (the entrance from University Road) at the Nsukka Campus.

To facilitate the smooth commencement of construction, Main Gate 2 will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting: Wednesday, April 15, 2026

Commuters and members of the university community are advised to plan their movements accordingly and utilize the following alternative access points:

• Zik’s Flats Gate
• Odenigwe Gate
• Nru Entrance (Main Gate 1)

The university administration appreciates your patience and cooperation as we undertake this laudable venture to improve our campus infrastructure.
