UNIUYO SUG notice on reopening of hostels

The Directorate of Information & Public Relations of the University of Uyo Students' Union has announced the reopening of all university hostels for the new academic session.

In a press release issued by the union, all eligible students are to resume accommodation on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

According to the directive, students must present their official hostel allocation slips to the Hostel Superintendents at their respective halls of residence for documentation before proceeding to their assigned bed spaces.

The union has advised all students to strictly comply with the stated guidelines to ensure a smooth, orderly, and efficient check-in process.

The announcement was signed by Godwin Patrick, Director of Information & Public Relations for the Students' Union, University of Uyo, Nigeria.

Students are encouraged to cooperate with university authorities to facilitate a successful resumption.
