Federal University of Education, Pankshin suspends lectures for orientation, matriculation Ceremony

The Federal University of Education, Pankshin, has announced a temporary suspension of lectures for specific student groups to accommodate the Orientation and Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

In a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar on 2nd March, 2026, the university management has approved the suspension of lectures for B.Ed. 100 Level UTME and 200 Level Direct Entry students. This break in the academic schedule is to allow the new students to participate in the mandatory orientation programmes and the official matriculation ceremony.

The schedule of events is as follows:

Β· COLLEGES ORIENTATION EXERCISE: The exercise will commence with college-level orientations on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, holding from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the various College Halls.

Β· GENERAL ORIENTATION EXERCISE: A general orientation session for all new students is scheduled for Thursday, 5th March 2026. The event will take place at the Convocation Square from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Β· MATRICULATION CEREMONY: The high point of the week will be the Matriculation Ceremony, where students will be formally admitted into the university. The ceremony will be held on Friday, 6th March 2026, at the Convocation Square, also from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
