UNIZIK expels student involved in an altercation with a lecturer

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) has expelled the student who was involved in an altercation with a Lecturer in a video that trended on social media recently.

According to a statement by the management, the decision to expel her followed a fair hearing by the Students Discipinary Committee. The act of the Female student, Goddy Mbakwe Chiamaka Precious a 300 level student in the Department of History and International Studies was deemed a gross misconduct and a violation of the institutions disciplinary regulations.

She has been asked to vacate the University's premises immediately and return all property of the institution in her possession
