UNIZIK schedule of undergraduate fees for 2025/2026

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has released the official schedule of charges for the 2025/2026 academic session for all regular undergraduate students.

According to the breakdown, new students (Year 1) are to pay a total of ₦162,500 as school fees. However they are also required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦65,000

For returning students (from Year 2 and above) the total school fee remains ₦95,000 across all levels. The breakdown shows that old students will pay for items such as ICT services, development levy, laboratory or studio fees, examination fee, medical services, insurance, departmental dues, and students’ union fee... all summing up to that amount.

It is also noted that some charges like certificate verification and files apply only to new students, which explains why their total is higher than that of returning students.

In summary, the new UNIZIK fee structure makes it clear that while Year 1 students pay higher due to first time charges, all returning students will continue with a uniform payment of ₦95,000 per session from Year 2 upwards.
