UNIZIK student killed while attempting to collect sim card from armed robbers

A 200-level student of the Department of Philosophy,  Nnamdi Azikiwe University, was on Sunday, January 8, shot and killed by armed robbers during an attack.

According to reports, the student identified as Daniel was killed while attempting to retrieve his sim card from the robbers who had robbed him of his phone at Success lodge Ifite.

He was shot in the stomach and was rushed to the hospital where he later died due to excessive loss of blood.

Anambra state police command who confirmed the incident said police patrol has been deployed to the scene for investigation.
