Unknown assailants murder BSU graduate and prospective NYSC member

The family of Joy Onuh Ogochuckwu, a graduate of the Department of Mass Communication, Benue State University, Makurdi, have taken to social media to mourn her demise following her disappearance on Tuesday, October 19.

According to reports, Joy who markets clothes online and was due to leave for the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC), was contacted by unknown persons who posed as customers wanting to buy clothing items from her.

She was said to have gone to deliver the items on Tuesday night in Makurdi and was found raped and dead on Wednesday morning.

Joy was killed one day before she was to leave for NYSC camp.
