Unknown gunmen abduct and kill IMSU law student

A 300 level law student of the Imo State University, Owerri, named Kenneth Ibeh was on Friday, September 24, 2021, abducted and killed by unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers alongside another person while they were on their way to a burial wake keep in Ugiri in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state. 

The lifeless body of the student who also doubles as a youth leader in one of the communities in Imo state was found dumped on a road along Nkwo Mba.

His demise was confirmed by his friends who have since taken to Facebook to mourn him.
