COE Akanga notice to Academic Staff on promotion requirements

The College of Education, Akwanga, has issued an urgent directive regarding the ongoing 2026 Staff Promotion Exercise.

In preparation for the upcoming promotion cycle, the institution has requested immediate action from specific academic staff members. All Academic Staff who were employed between January and March 2023 and have yet to submit the following documentation are required to do so immediately:

• Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate
• Evidence of Computer Literacy

Affected staff members must submit these documents to the Secret Registry (Room 4) no later than Friday, 27th March, 2026.

The administration emphasizes that this notice should be treated with the utmost urgency and importance to ensure all personnel are adequately prepared for the promotion exercise.

This directive was issued by Habakkuk Y. Tigga, for the Acting Registrar, with copies provided to the Provost and Deans.
