Wesley University, Ondo announces 14th convocation ceremony

Wesley University, Ondo, has officially announced the schedule for its 14th Convocation Ceremony, themed “J. Wesley Missiology & Education for Sustainable Development in the 21st Century.” The week-long event will hold from Tuesday, 18th November to Sunday, 23rd November, 2025, featuring a rich lineup of academic, spiritual, and celebratory activities.

A. International Conference

The convocation activities will commence with an International Conference from Tuesday, 18th to Thursday, 20th November, 2025.

The conference will include panel discussions, proceedings, and journal presentations, alongside a press conference, all centered on the convocation theme.

B. Convocation Ceremonies

From Thursday, 20th to Saturday, 22nd November, 2025, the main convocation ceremonies will take place. Highlights of this segment include:

Presentation of Awards

Festschrift Presentation in honour of the Vice-Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Prof. Samuel Sunday Obeka (JP).

C. Convocation Thanksgiving Service

The grand finale will be the Convocation Thanksgiving Service scheduled for Sunday, 23rd November, 2025, at the University Chapel.

The service will feature distinguished ministers of God, including His Eminence, Dr. Oliver Ali Aba, and Snr. Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, alongside other anointed ministers.
