YABATECH Rector Cleared of Corruption Allegations

The Rector, Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Margret Kudirat Ladipo, has been cleared of allegations of corruption by the Federal Ministry of Education, Inspector General of Police and the Governing Council of the Institution.

The Rector was accused in a series of petition of illegally rewarding contracts to members of the Governing Council to aid her appointment for a second tenure.

In a statement signed by the institution’s director of public relations, Mr. Charles Oni, she (the Rector) got her second term “purely on the basis of merit, of her exceptional achievements in her first tenure in office.”
