YABATECH CODFEL course registration procedure

The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has issued an official step-by-step guide to assist students in completing their CODFEL course registration for the new academic session. The directive emphasizes correct registration procedures and warns students against using the general student portal to alter CODFEL-registered courses.

Students are required to begin the process by visiting the College Portal at portal.yabatech.edu.ng and selecting the CODFEL registration option. Alternatively, students may access the link through the college website under the “Student” menu. 

The College further noted that students starting a new session must complete their statutory payment before gaining access to the CODFEL portal. The payment link is available on the CODFEL landing page under “Make Statutory Payment." Without this payment, registration cannot proceed. 

After payment, students are instructed to click “Commence Registration” to log into the CODFEL portal using their username and password. Once logged in, they may choose their preferred courses from the list provided. 

Upon selecting courses, students will be taken to a page where they can either proceed to payment or edit their selections. The College advises students to confirm their course options carefully before generating fees, as the amount payable depends on the credit units selected. 

After successful payment, students must return to the CODFEL Online Access Center and click “Submit Registration” to finalize their course selection. The College warns that failure to complete this final step means the registration remains incomplete. 

Students are then required to log out and proceed to the general student portal only to print their course form. The institution cautions against using “Register My Courses” or “Unlock Course” on the general portal, as doing so may delete CODFEL-registered courses and could attract penalties. Only the “Print Course Registration” option should be used. 

For students who wish to add courses, the College mandates that they visit the CODFEL office to generate an invoice for the additional units. Payments must be made before returning to the office with proof of payment and the list of intended courses. 

YABATECH reiterated that attempting to update or unlock course forms through unauthorized means constitutes illegal registration and may result in fines.
