YSU notice to SIWES students on sales of Logbooks (2025/2026 Session)

The Directorate of Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) at Yobe State University has officially announced the commencement of logbook sales for all eligible 300 Level students for the 2025/2026 session.

The logbook is a mandatory requirement for participation in the Industrial Training programme. Students are strongly advised to complete the purchase and collection process within two weeks of the start date.

Schedule and Venue

  • Duration: Monday, 20th April, 2026 to Friday, 1st May, 2026
  • Daily Time: 9:00 a.m. prompt
  • Venue: SIWES Directorate, Desert Research and Monitoring Centre
  • Cost: ₦1,000 only (excluding additional charges)

Payment and Collection Process

Eligible students must follow these four steps to secure their logbook:

  1. Invoice Generation: Visit your student dashboard to generate a Remita invoice specifically for the logbook payment.
  2. Payment: Pay the sum of ₦1,000 using the generated Remita code.
  3. Validation: Take your payment receipt to the Bursary Department for official validation.
  4. Collection: Present your verified receipt at the SIWES Directorate to collect your logbook.
