Zamfara State Government extends deadline for TVET teachers recruitment

The Zamfara State Government of Nigeria, through the Committee for the Recruitment of 2,000 Teachers, has announced a short extension of the application deadline for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teachers.

The extension follows appeals from qualified candidates across various local government areas who experienced network connectivity challenges that prevented them from submitting their applications within the initial timeframe.

According to the Committee, the recruitment portal will be reopened for five (5) days exclusively for TVET teachers from Monday, 16th February to Friday, 20th February 2026 and will close at 11:59 p.m.

All eligible candidates are required to apply exclusively through the official Zamfara State Government Online Recruitment Portal:

Available TVET Subject Areas

The recruitment exercise will focus on qualified applicants in the following technical and vocational subjects:

• Technical Drawing
• Basic Electricity and Electronics
• Woodwork and Furniture Making
• Metalwork and Fabrication
• Catering and Craft Practice
• Bookkeeping and Accounting (Vocational Stream)
• ICT / Computer Science
• Mathematics / Physics
• Agricultural Science

The Committee urged all interested and qualified candidates to take advantage of the extended window and complete their applications within the stipulated period.
