Zamfara State University update on NELFUND verification and change of venue

The Management of Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara (ZAMSUT), through the Office of the Registrar, has issued an important reminder to all concerned students regarding the 2025/2026 NELFUND verification exercise.

According to the notice, all students whose names appear on the First Batch of the 2025/2026 NELFUND Beneficiary List are required to attend the verification exercise before the stipulated deadline.

Change of Verification Venue

The University also announced a change in the verification venue. The exercise, which was initially scheduled to hold at the Permanent Site, will now take place at the Temporary Site.

Verification Schedule

• Date: Thursday, 8th January – Friday, 30th January, 2026
• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily (Monday to Thursday)

Required Documents

Affected beneficiaries are expected to attend the verification exercise with the following documents:

1. School fees Remita
2. Student ID Card (for returning students only)
3. Letter of refund and a copy of evidence of payment of registration fees for the 2025/2026 academic session (for students who have already paid their school fees)

Students who have already completed their verification are advised to disregard this notice.
