Zamfara State University notice on verification of 1st batch of NELFUND Beneficiaries

Zamfara State University (ZSU), Talata Mafara, has announced the commencement of the verification exercise for the first batch of NELFUND beneficiary students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar on 7 January 2026, all students whose names appear on the attached First Batch NELFUND Beneficiary List are required to report to the Bursary Department at the Permanent Site for verification.

The verification exercise is scheduled to hold from Thursday, 8 January to Friday, 30 January 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, from Monday to Thursday.

Affected students are expected to present the following documents during the verification:

1. School fees Remita

2. Student ID card (for returning students only)

3. Letter of refund and a copy of evidence of payment of registration fees for the 2025/2026 academic session (for students who have already paid their school fees)

The university emphasized that only students whose names appear on the approved list are invited for the exercise, as verification is being conducted strictly in batches.

Students are therefore advised to comply fully with the stated schedule and requirements to avoid disqualification.
