How to Remove the LinkWithIn Link in Related Posts widget

Some days ago, I published a post on the Easiest way to add Related Posts widget with thumbnail to blogger blog - LinkWithIn but after adding the widget, we noticed that the widget had a linkwithin link at the bottom-left part of the widget. Though some bloggers might be okay with that, others might
not. Also, having the linkwithin link on the widget implies that you will be linking to their website on all the pages on your blog. This is not a good SEO practice because this link might divert the attention of your blog reader.

If you are not comfortable with the link and wish to remove/hide it, then follow the steps below:
  • Sign-in to your Blogger account.
  • From Blogger Dashboard Select Template On Template page select Customize Option
control panel

  • Click on Advanced and select Add CSS .
  • Now copy the code below and paste the code in the Add CSS Box
#linkwithin_logolink_0
{display:none;}

Customize Template

  • After inserting the code click Apply to Blog Button (on the top-left corner of the page).
Congratulation, you have successfully removed the LinkWithIn link on the Related Posts widget.
Now reload your blog and you will notice that the link in no more there.

Thanks for going through this post.
Hope that this helps.
