List of Banks That Issue Verve Cards In Nigeria

What is Verve?
Verve is your new InterSwitch (ATM) multipurpose payment card that gives you online-realtime access to your funds. This card now comprises of Chip and PIN. Verve is the new name of more secure, convenient InterSwitch (ATM) card that makes transactions safer and adds convenience to everyday life.
Verve Cards are often issued by bank and powered by InterSwitch.

Using the Interswitch network, card holders can perform payment transactions on over 12,000 Point-Of-Sale (POS) terminals, over 7,000 Automated Teller Machines (ATM), and on web merchant sites, mobile phones as well as kiosks and much more!
There are 16+ banks which are authorized to issue Interswitch Verve cards in Nigeria, these include: 
  • First Bank, 
  • Access Bank (Intercontinental Bank), 
  • ETB, 
  • UBA
  • Stanbic IBTC, 
  • EcoBank (Oceanic Bank), 
  • Unity Bank, 
  • Sterling Bank, 
  • Spring Bank
  • Wema Bank, 
  • Keystone Bank (Bank PHB)
  • FCMB, 
  • Afribank, 
  • Fidelity Bank, 
  • Skye Bank, 
  • Finbank. 

According to ITREALMS ONLINE, these 16 banks have issued over 10 million Verve cards to their customers.
To obtain a Verve card simply walk into any of these banks to request for a Verve card. You might be required to open an account with the bank. Once you get your verve card, activate it by changing the PIN at the ATM. Once activated, you can start using it for your transactions but for you to use it to make payments online, you must register the Verve card for safetoken service.
