How to logout an account from the new Facebook Messenger application

Moments ago, I receive a ping from a friend regarding how he can log out his account from the new Facebook Messenger application on his sister’s android phone...

After assisting him, I deem it necessary to publish this post here for my readers who might require such service.

STEPS

• Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications.
• Locate and open ‘Messenger’ 
• Click on ‘Clear Data’.

Go back to your mobile’s menu and re-lunch/open ‘Messenger’.. It will start all-over again from the Login Screen.
